RANGER Crane Retrofit System
RANGER Overview
Kar-Tech's RANGER crane retrofit system is a easy-to-install package that boosts safety and productivity by bringing wireless control to manually operated cranes. The system is built around linear actuators that mount to the valve handles, as well as all electronics needed to drive them, a PACKER series radio transmitter, and a VC-93 radio receiver, along with all mounting hardware and a premade wiring harness. The illustrated step-by-step installation manual makes the initial setup a breeze. Paddle-style joysticks enable the operator to feather the controls as smoothly as manual controls. Kar-Tech's best-in-class radio provides 1000' of operating range, with all the protection of two-way communication and ID-coded 900MHz FHSS transmissions. An Emergency Stop switch and enable buttons enhance security even further. The whole system is sealed tight against the environment - made for the way you work. Basic Technical Info:
The RANGER system electronics operate between 9 - 35VDC. The transmitter's battery enables 20hrs. of work before a 1hr fast-charge. Charging and low battery status LED's are present. The system functions between -40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit.
