Introducing the CODESYS Radio Receiver
Kar-Tech’s CODESYS Radio Receiver brings wireless control, flexible I/O, and user-programmable logic together in one rugged package.
Built around the industry-standard CODESYS development environment, the receiver allows engineers to create custom machine-control logic for their specific application. Programming, debugging, and diagnostics can all be performed wirelessly, making development and field service faster and more convenient.
The receiver features 18 configurable I/O pins supporting analog inputs, digital inputs, frequency inputs, PWM outputs, current-regulated outputs, and digital outputs. Dual CAN bus connections with J1939 support make it easy to integrate with modern mobile equipment and industrial control systems.
An integrated radio module supports two-way wireless communication at 900 MHz or 2.4 GHz, with real-time feedback and operating ranges up to 1,000 feet depending on the selected configuration. Kar-Tech also provides dedicated I/O, radio, CAN, and EEPROM libraries to help streamline development.
For applications that require retained settings or operating data, the receiver supports up to 1,500 persistent variables that remain available across power cycles. Completed boot applications can also be distributed to end users through a Wi-Fi gate page without requiring the full CODESYS development environment.
With its flexible architecture, rugged IP66 enclosure, and wireless development capabilities, the CODESYS Radio Receiver gives OEMs a practical platform for creating customized, intelligent machine-control solutions.
