Wireless Emergency Stop kits done safely, smart, and affordably. With our mesh remote control, you can control up to eight pieces of equipment in real-time with one wireless emergency stop transmitter. They are designed to meet the rigorous requirements for Safety Integrity Level (SIL) 2 based on the IEC61508 standard.
Our wireless emergency stop system starts with a receiver with two independent solid-state sourcing outputs rated for 5A each - one which is normally ON and turns OFF in an E-Stop condition. It's reset to an ON condition when the E-Stop switch is returned to neutral/safe. The second output is normally ON and turns OFF in an E-Stop condition, but requires recycling machine power after returning to a safe position to clear the output. The receiver takes 9 - 30VDC and is epoxy potted for total protection. And because the name of the game is safety - there are redundancies at both the transmitter and receiver. The transmitter uses two normally closed switches wired in series for redundant protection, and the receiver uses the third output to activate the two main outputs - if it notices a short circuit, it will engage an E-Stop condition.
We then offer a choice of three different transmitters - a small pocket-clip wireless emergency stop switch that's vertically actuated, a larger belt-worn wireless E-Stop switch that's vertically actuated, and a horizontally actuated wireless kill switch. Only one transmitter is needed to command up to 8 receivers, so that a single operator can safely stop up to eight pieces of equipment. It's important to note: these are all two-way radios in a mesh configuration so that the operator has real-time indication of machine issues and radio link status!
